Celebrates VIP’s!

The Epstein School’s Early Childhood Program at the Ahavath Achim Campus held its Annual VIP Day, where each student is given the opportunity to invite a VIP guest, who is especially significant and meaningful to their lives.

VIP Day is a great tradition at The Epstein School because it allows the children to share with their grandparents or other VIP’s the exciting and nurturing environment that is a hallmark of Epstein. Rabbi Neil Sandler enthusiastically read a Hanukkah story to the children and their families entitled, Judah Who Always Said, “No.”

The VIP’s were treated to a delightful program, which included remarks from Head of School Stan Beiner and Program Director Terry Heard, as well as an adorable Kabbalat Shabbat, where VIP’s and the children sang songs together followed by an abbreviated Friday Shabbatt service.

As always, the highlight of the program was the visit to the classroom, where VIP’s are able to actually witness the caring, fun and stimulating pre-school learning environment for which Epstein is known. They sang Jewish songs, read stories and played games. The children’s faces reflected how much they love having their VIP’s spend time with them at their school.
